OLMECA ALTOS TEQUILA
Master Distiller
Maestro Tequilero Jesús Hernandez keeps us grounded and oversees production at our birthplace, the Destilería Colonial de Jalisco in Los Altos, where he has been the Maestro for 17 years. Managing every part of production, from the harvesting of agave to the aging of our Reposado, Jesús pours his passion into every bottle of Altos Tequila. A Jalisco native himself, Jesús spent many years studying architecture and bottle manufacturing in the USA and brought his knowledge back to Mexico to help construct our distillery. His son, also named Jesús, provides tours of the distillery. We like to keep it in the family.
Creators
Henry Besant and Dre Masso both got their starts in the bartending industry, working their way to the top and winning awards with every step. After noticing a gap in the tequila market, Henry and Dre partnered with Maestro Tequilero Jesús Hernandez to create high-quality tequila that captured the authenticity of agave distillation, but also make it accessible to tequila fans from all over. The result- Altos Tequila, a tequila created by bartenders for bartenders.
OLMECA ALTOS TEQUILA PLATA
Altos Tequila Plata is made from 100% blue agave grown in the Los Altos highlands of Mexico. Complete with herbal notes of cooked agave, our Plata is slightly citric and sweet with a fruity aroma. It’s a classic tequila for the modern world.

OLMECA ALTOS TEQUILA REPOSADO
Altos Reposado tequila is made from 100% blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico and aged in former whiskey barrels for 6 to 8 months for good measure. Sweet and citric with notes of vanilla and wood, it’s definitely worth the wait. Trust us.

OLMECA ALTOS TEQUILA AÑEJO
A perfect blend between the fun and vibrancy of tequila with the intrinsic appeal of the craft and credentials of bourbon. Aged in oak barrels for 18 months. Añejo has a well-balanced and rounded aroma with notes of dried fruit and almonds. Woody notes, vanilla and chocolate flavors makes it a prized addition to the family.
