Take in the beautiful Darwin Waterfront while enjoying street style tacos, Mexican inspired cuisine, Australia’s largest collection of tequila, a large range of South American beers, specialty crafted cocktail, with a focus on tequila, margaritas & enchiladas.
Hot Tamale aims to serve distinctive dishes inspired by Mexico. Our food is vibrant, delicious, fresh and fun. We focus on using seasonal products, large cuts of meats as well as an amazing array of spices and chilies, both fresh and dried.
We support local suppliers, farmers, fishermen and producers were we can. Wherever possible, and cost-effective, we will be using organic and free-range products, including our fresh produce and seafood.
Hot Tamale is also home to the Southern Hemispheres largest collection of tequilas and mezcals. A wonderful collection that includes some of the finest tequilas you can purchase, currently around 300 agave spirits. Our cocktail list focuses on highlighting the different variations of tequila mixed perfectly to make beautiful cocktails.
Our cuisine direction is overseen by our Executive Chef Martin Bouchier and Head Chef, Luke Hammond.
